Jay Hook
Director of Online Strategy
Jay has been with The Nissen Group since 2002 and handles audience development strategy, information technology, and website initiatives for the company.
With over 14 years of experience in database management and design, he holds numerous industry certifications and credentials, including Novell Certified Network Engineer, Microsoft Certified Professional, and is also a Mailpiece Quality Control specialist with the United States Postal Service.
A seasoned technology veteran, Jay has contributed his expertise as a beta tester for software such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Windows XP. Most recently he has been named one of FOLIO: Magazine's Top 40 People in 2009, and has been featured in numerous trade publications.
Jay also been a guest speaker on the topics of content management systems, search engine optimization, and technology infrastructure for organizations such as BPA Worldwide and Red 7 Media. Before joining The Nissen Group, Jay worked as an information technology consultant in the agricultural industry, serving clients such as Ocean Spray and Turfgrass Producers International.
