Joe Jensen

President & CEO

As President of the company for the past 15 years, Joe is responsible for the overall direction of The Nissen Group. The Nissen Group advertising agency is the oldest in Polk County and has offices in both Winter Haven and Lakeland, Florida.

Joe’s track record is one of product innovation and significant growth for The Nissen Group and the team of professionals within its structure. He has more than 25 years of knowledge and experience that includes advertising and public relations, branding, creative planning, campaign concepts and execution and supervision of all print materials (corporate image, brochures, direct mail components, trade ads, etc.), outdoor billboards, package design, signage design and trade show exhibit design and web development.

Joe started his career as an owner and publisher in Minneapolis, MN. He published magazines for the universities and college athletic directors nationwide. His experience included sales, layout, design, list management and subscription management, printing and fulfillment.

In 1981, Joe added J2 Advertising to his publishing company.

In 2007, J2 Advertising and Nissen Advertising merged to become The Nissen Group.
